I am Manuela Muñoz Sánchez, a lawyer registered with the Bar of Barcelona (ICAB) under number 37992.

As the head of Diario de un Abogado, I bring a solid track record and real experience of resolving complex cases. I have practised independently from my own office since 2012, offering legal advice that is close, firm and focused on protecting the client.

Academically, my continuing legal training is complemented by a postgraduate degree in forensic science (2021), a qualification that lets me bring greater technical rigour to the analysis of evidence and complex investigations.

My work is focused on the following areas:

Criminal law: extensive experience in this jurisdiction, backed by my postgraduate studies in forensic science and continuing training in prison law and the criminal response to new forms of crime.
Family and matrimonial law: specialist in family proceedings and in representing fathers in family disputes, with specific training in the enforcement of orders made in these cases.
Employment and civil law: end-to-end resolution of disputes and extensive demonstrable experience in both fields.

What advice would you give someone you love facing a serious legal problem?

You would probably say: “Find a good lawyer to get you out of this”. My advice to you is different: do not settle for someone who tells you what you want to hear — find someone who explains clearly where you actually stand.
